Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa has always been committed to the safety and well-being of our staff and guests. Additional enhancements have been made to operations and our environment to help curb the spread of the virus. Below are the steps we are taking at The Resort to maintain a clean, safe and relaxing destination:
Following CDC guidelines, we have increased the amount of routine cleaning and disinfecting, with a focus on high-touch surfaces in common-areas.
Hand sanitizer is readily available throughout the property.
Guests are required to wear masks in all public areas.
Physical layouts have been arranged to provide appropriate distancing.
We have removed most in-room collateral from all rooms and making them only available upon request.
Guest rooms are receiving a second, post-cleaning sanitation once the housekeeper is finished preparing the guest room.
To minimize contact, rooms will not be serviced daily by housekeeping. Fresh linens, towels and other amenities are available upon request.
We have implemented employee-screening measures to assess signs and symptoms of infection and the possibility of recent exposure to someone infected with the virus. Employees will have temperature checks before each shift.
Note: We ask that guests abide by a similar self-screening protocol prior to arriving and during their stay. If you have any reason to believe you’ve been exposed to the virus, we strongly urge you to follow CDC guidelines for self-quarantine and stay safe at home. We will look forward to welcoming you once the self-quarantine period is complete.
Employees have been trained on proper hygiene and participate in frequent cleaning and sanitation of work environment.
Employees will be provided and are required to wear masks while on property and while they are unable to maintain a 6’ social distance from a guest or an employee.
Housekeeping staff will wear masks and gloves while cleaning each room. They will wash hands and change gloves between each guest room.
Guest Services Representatives will sanitize surfaces (including pens and keys) between each guest interaction. Contactless check in is available upon request.
Bellmen will sanitize their hands and luggage carts between use.
Valet will sanitize their hands and keys prior to entering a guest vehicle or returning a guest key.
FOOD & BEVERAGE ENHANCEMENTS
Menus are being disinfected between use. Digital menus are available to view on your personal mobile device.
We are currently offering no-contact delivery of all room service orders in disposable containers.
All front of house and back of house culinary team members are wearing masks during food preparation and throughout service.
All surfaces are sanitized frequently throughout the day.
We have discontinued all self-serve food and beverage services.
To Go orders are still encouraged!
Update 7/6/2020: In response to the SLO County directive, Lido’s dining room will be closed until further notice. Reservations are strongly recommended for patio seating and can be made in-person or online through Yelp. Breakfast, Lunch and Brunch: Daily 8:00am-2:00pm; Lounge: 2:00pm-9:00pm; Happy Hour: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-6:00pm; Dinner: Daily 5:00pm-9:00pm;
POOL/FITNESS CENTER POLICIES
Yes, our pool is open. Reservations are not required. However, we are asking that guests respect the amount of time they spend at the pool as seating is limited.
Access is limited to one point of entry.
We have grouped chairs and spaced them accordingly to maintain social distancing between households.
All chairs, tables and doors are sanitized prior to the pool area opening and throughout the day.
Jacuzzi and fitness center are currently closed.
